Actually, I'm the same. I'm 18 in college and my gf is a sophomore and 15. We still date, it's all just a matter if you like her enough.

Depending on what state your in, it could be illegal. As for 15 to 18 age difference, the actual number of years isnt a big deal. But the place you guys are prob at in your lives is a huge difference. And since your going away to college. Long distance relationships are hard when theres a solid foundation. But trying to start a relationship when your away can be even harder. Plus in college your gonna be experiencing a whole new life. With all new people. Having someone at home can seem comforting, but can also lead to a multitude of other problems. But ultimatley theres a huge difference between sophmore year, and freshman in college. Not that it cant work, but I think that its prob just best to take things slow, see what college brings to you. And jut remember whatever is meant to be will be. Sounds cliche but its true.

love isnt about the numbers its about the feelings, and 3 years apart is no biggy, most of my boyfriends are around that age difference, its nothing unusual. The age difference may become a little obstructing because she has friends her age and u have friends your age n they might not get along and her parents may be a bit iffy when they find that your leaving for college n shes in high school but think of possibilties, how likely is it that her parents would suddenly turn against you if your nice to them (considering the fact that youve met them of course, if otherwise, and the question pops up then be truthful and assure them that thier daughters in safe hands). For now just make her feel loved, and besides having an older guy is really an experience for a girl, you going out with a younger girl is really cute, so hun its nothing to worry about.

Three years isn't a whole lot. I know a lot of freshman that go out with seniors which is the same age difference. Their relationships are fine, some work out great actually. What you really do need to do is ask the girl's parents permission. Do this after a couple more times of hanging out. It is a must! And don't make her do it, its not going to help you as far as the parents go.

Go off to college for a year without being in too close contact with her and then think about it. You will meet all different types of women in college women that are closer to your age and on your level. Please don't play with a little girl's heart. She will miss out on so many things in high school that will help her when she gets in the "real world." She needs to learn about having a crush on someone and a broken heart and how to handle these things. If you have any type of relationship besides friendship you guys will both miss out on sooo much!

In some situations, age does not matter. In this case it does. Your age considers you an adult and her age considers her "jail bait". If you want some good advice from someone who has been there, just leave it alone and meet a girl thats age considers her "legal". Sorry to be harsh, but honey this is the real world and stuff like that doesnt sit well with people, Ya know?

You're leaving for college in a few days? I could be wrong, but I suspect she will quickly fade into the background for you. Soon you will be around a lot of smart, attractive women who are your age, and older (with more experience).

Ideally an age difference of 3 years shouldn't matter, but you really shouldn't risk getting involved with the law.

No, age is just a bunch of numbers. If you like her then go for it. I always like the older guys. They treat you how you are suppose to be treated. Distance might be a problem if you move far away. But i always go for guys like 4 years older. I am 17 and with a guy that is 21 and i love him to death. I have been with him for almost 9 months. Good luck!

Yep. Sorry, but this isn't a good time to be starting a relationship with a high school girl. Your horizons are expanding and you will change a lot in college. If you lead her on now, it probably won't work out and you might break her heart.

that age difference is. now when she's 18 and you're 21, thats fine. but right now she's too young for you. why? legally you're an adult, she's a minor. that means you go to jail if her parents decide they don't like you. you're treading dangerous waters. i know a few guys who have done this and it's not wise. all the parents have to do is decide they dont like the way you blow your nose and they can turn you into the cops for having a relationship with a minor.
