We do need to be more extreme with our justice system. How many people would steal if they got a finger or hand cut off?
How many people would rape or molest children if they got the death penalty 100 percent of the time?

I would support castration for convicted child molestors.
Hand cut off for stealing? Maybe for thefts including property and cash of $1,000 or more I would support that because obviously at that point they are not just trying to "keep their family from starving."

I heard the crime rate is low in Sinapore because they use lashing as punishment. Good for them if it's working.
I also heard that in Italy they chop fingers or hands if you steal or rape. Not sure if there is any truth to that. Maybe i'm thinking of the Mafia. My dad was Italian. lol.

I agree with you,,, the recent law passed "National Child Safety Act" largely due to John Walsh, America's most wanted, in honor of his 6 year old son Adam,,, will help all law enforcement, FBI, CIA,, to catch the pedophiles, child molesters, rapists,,, the USA is on the hunt for these creeps,,, we can no longer sit by and allow them to hunt down our children,,,,, 25 year minimum sentences for 2ND offenses,,, that's the best America can do,,, I personally think they should be castrated on the first offense,,,,

I've been coming around to that opinion for some time now...I think it would be a definite deterant....how about shooting a few illegals as they cross the border after making certain they all know the penalty for trying....think it might stop or lessen the flow?

I think that is a little to harsh for the United States. You can go to the middle east and enjoy that type of brutality.
