Definitely the Wal-Mart Equate brand which is actually Cheapo Claritin! You can buy it under a lot of other no name brands but the actual Medicine is Loratadine. Best for allergies and easy on the wallet!!

Claritan works great!...I also use Benedryl (no-drowsy) allergy formula once in a while. The reason is if I take the same thing over and over...I start to be immune to it- sneeze more, watery eyes return etc. ; so I switch it up.

Lay off the milk products. Even if you aren't allergic to milk. Milk causes phlem and also can trigger alleries in other substances you aren't normally allergic to.

Clartin helps in some people but Allegra is a whole lot better. OTC in canada, maybe you can mail order some.
