The answer, of course, is YES! A little more background: I was talking about some actress and how hot she was. I think Scarlett Johansson, and he goes, I don't look at other women, just my wife. (his wife aint all that, by the way). And I was like, hey, it doesn't matter where you get your appetite, just as long as you eat at home! And he goes, well, when I get home my appetite is VERY strong. And I was like, ok, I respect that. 4 weeks later I go in his office, and he's got some nudey pic on the screen. I was like, WHAT are you looking at?! And he tries to play it all off like it's a pop up. Yeah right. Anyway, I don't mind it that anybody looks at porn. But if you're gonna be all self righteous about it and do it anyway. What the heck! So...what do you think?

He was just doing research so that if the subject of pornography ever comes up in casual conversation, he can cover all the bases ... then go rub one out in the bathroom.

It's ALWAYS the case - I can't count the number of times I've met people who judged others for the very behavior that I saw pop up and exhibited by them. Most of - religious and not religious - are deluded and don't have an ounce of self-awareness. It's a fact of basic psychology that when someone desires something and tries to push it down away from their awareness and avoid it, it becomes stronger and stronger and it usually develops into an 'issue'. That's why everything needs to be held in awareness and questioned and examined and not pushed away. Have compassion for the guy -- it's miserable to live with all that buried stuff and he didn't ask to be conditioned by the life he was born into.

I truly believe you, because I've seen it and also I don't do okay myself but I'm christian. Anyway I'm not all for the ones that talk about them are the righteous one and you are evil, I believe in your actions is a true testimony of what you believe in. I made that mistake before when I first got saved and started to point my finger at the other people not realizing that I myself need to set an example of what I believe in.

Yeah, a lot of people are like that. Not all Christians however. Im a Christian and I do things I shouldnt do. Im not going to tell you that you should do them because I have a hard time dealing with them myself. I wont tell you I DON'T do them because then thats just lying. What you said there is what hypocricy really is, when someone says they dont do something and they do. I am often called a hypocrite if I say "Premarital sex is a sin" and yet I do it... I ADMIT I sin. I dont personally like porn because its unrealistic but I wont say Ive never looked at it before. But just know it isnt only Christians who do things they say they dont, or dont do things they say they do. Thats humanity, not Christianity.

Well i think porn at work is just plain wrong, seriously he's supposed to be diong his job, he isnt paid to pleasure himself(that was well put if i do say so myself, lol). But maybe he is just ashamed to talk about it, or he thinks it is something ppl shouldnt discuss, or maybe he doesnt want it getting back to his wife. I am sure he has a good reason for not discussing it with u so dont judge him too harshly.

I think you should stay out of his busines and worry about your own. Just because he's a Christian, doesn't mean he's perfect. Yes, Christians believe that porn is wrong, but every man has a weakness with something. Let him deal with it on his own.

He is telling you what he should be doing as a Christian so as not to discourage you. That doesn't mean he never falls to temptation, but it means he knows how he should be living.

That's the trouble with Christians, they are so imperfect.
But, at least he KNOWS he is.
Satan doesn't need to bother the non christians he already has them, he concentrates his efforts on people like your christian co-worker and tries to get them to fail especially at times when someone else will see.
That's his game plan and you can be a part of it or not.

God made woman and men attracted to one another for a reason. There is a difference between "PORN" and an artistic nude photo. Either way, once married, you've been given a woman or man...as the case may be, to take all your lust out with. And that's where your eyes and concentration should be.

i'm sorry you had to witness a christian person in a lie.christian or not, we are all human. we have the same appetite for all things, christian people just have to learn to control themselves better. just remember, it's your friend who is going to have to answer to God.I think more christian people should realize that even though they are "saved", they are still just humans. they get embarrassed when they are caught just being human!
