People who generalize and label any group of people in a negative way are usually trying to compenstae for low self esteem by putting others down to make themselves "better". Embrace your fellow man (and woman) and respect him/her for who they are, and you will learn to be a lot happier.
P.S. I used to be closed minded and disliked people who were different from me, too, but my friend (who, by the way, is a guy) taught me to embrace their differences. I'm much happier now.
