If you attempt to do both you will do what's called over-process your hair. You can end up with such things as frizzing or fried hair, severe breakage or even hair loss in varying degrees. Most salons will tell you to wait at least two weeks if not more before perming or straightening if you choose to color/dye your hair first. If you go to a salon for any type of color treatment (highlights, low lights, or all over coloring) all chemicals/colors necessary are provided there at the salon which is included in the cost of the service. Choosing light or dark colors all depends on the look you are trying to achieve and what would look best with your features. These are things to discuss with your hair care professional. Remember, any chemical treatment (perming, coloring, etc.,) causes some damage to hair so it's best to ask your hair care professional what products would be best to maintain your look and keep your hair in the best possible shape afterwards.

You should definatly straight your hair first, and about a week later you could dye it. It won't fall off if you do both in the same time but it will look awful. So be patient and do it right.
If you wanna go to saloon it depends of saloon are you gonna buy the hair dye or they will provide it. Probably you could do both. If they provide the hair dye, you will pay more in the saloon for your treatment, and if you buy it, you will pay less. At the end, depending on the hair dye brand you want and saloon you choose, you can calculate how much money are you gonna spend.

It doesn't matter how much color you have on your hair...just the type of color. NEVER EVER put metallic colors on your hair. This is Just for Men products, etc. Perm solution and metallic colors have a tendancy to combust...on your head.
Just remember, always perm first, color second. This is because the perm will push out the color molecules...as will deep conditioners if done within the first two weeks after coloring.
If you need anything else, just ask.

I dont think itll be any worse than the dryness the staightening will do. Id get it all done at once, if it were me. Then youll have it all done. I would ask a professional first tho, just to make sure.
Yes, the salon will have all the supplies and itll turn out better than what the store has. Their products are for professional use.
Good luck and have fun with your new do

When u go to the salon, they will carry the color, and they probably will not do them back to back, if can really damage your hair!! Wait at least 2 weeks after you get the color done to het it straightened,Good Luck!! The hairdresser should know what the best color to fit your skin color will be.

A salon maybe able to do as long as they are familiar with your hair and it's strength. If your hair is really weak it may not stand up under all the chemical and you'll have see if maybe you can straighten but just have highlights alone.
Your hair has to be strong for two chemical processes.

This system allows the stylist to chemically straighten the hair and add color without waiting. Here is the company's 800 # they may have a listing of stylist in your area that uses the product. yes... i would w8 at least two weeks after i perm it before dying it...even with temporary color....then condition it really well with a protien conditioner like aussie 3 minute miracle.....good luck....i hope that your hair comes out gr8. if you get it done at the salon they will provide the color, but you could buy the dye ten times cheaper at the store....and if you can't do it or aren't experienced then find a friend or family member that is.

doing those two at the same time will kill ur hair. and no u dont have to buy the dye. it comes with the price. if u plan to do this then ur hair will be damaged and i would suggest u deep condition every week.
