OS: Windows XP
I opened a file in Quicktime but It just showed a blank screen with the little progess meter moving, and then a pop-up screen came up that said "Unable to download the software needed to play this file."
So I decided to try to install and then re-install Quicktime. Well, when I went on the Add/Remove Programs list and clicked on Quicktime Player to remove it, a pop-up message came up that said "The Following File Does Not Exist Or Is Not A Vaild Uninstallation File" C:\Windows\System32\Quicktime\Uninstall.log
Do you have any suggestions on how I could solve this problem?

go to control panel on start up and go to add and remove programs and look for quicktime player and delete it. or go to search in the start up which has a magnifying glass on it and then type in quicktime in the search and then u can look for the file in different locations and then delete it.
