I am 23 years old staying with my parents on a temporary basis. My father and i had aheart to heart about wheather or not i am a burden in my parents lives. cuz he was making me feel like one and we came to an understanding. Then he goes behind my back and signs into my yahoo messanger name and tells some of my friends that i never want to speak to them again. on two seperate occasions to two seperate people. what should i do about this? leave it alone or say something? You're probably wondering how he got into my name. well yahoo was saving my name and password. even after i unsaved it. so i now resorted to uninstalling it and reinstalling it so i wont have to go through this again. what should i do? im 23 years old. and he's doing something yur 10 year old cousin from Alaska would do. im dying over here help me

And i will be moving out as soon as i get a new job. im staying here cuz i called off my engagement and broke up with my fiance. Then i lost my job and i am looking for a new one. so i ahve enough going on that i dont need my father disrupting my life like this.

I would seriously consider moving out! If I had that little privacy, I would surely be upset. You need your own space at your age, and he sounds to me as though he may even be doing all of this on purpose, so you do need to move out! No matter what, its better at your age to have the freedom to do what you want without someone watching over you night and day. You really will be happier!!!

No he would not have that properly. the challenge is that considering the fact that your a lady and also you nevertheless stay at domicile you are able to stay by technique of there regulations. And the guidelines are continuously different for a lady then a guy( i comprehend its sucks and its not truthful), yet it is existence. I recommend you bypass out of there once you are able to.

As long as you are living at home you're somewhat stuck. You can ask him to respect your privacy and you can change passwords, etc. But, I'm not sure what other options you have. Sorry.

You definitely need to say something. Don't let it slide. Tell him that you know what he did, you don't like it. It's important to let others know when things are bothering you. He has no right to invade your privacy, as long as you're not hurting yourself. Don't keep quiet about this.

Thats kind of strange. Why don't you move out, or try speaking to another family member. Perhaps your mum can help?
