There could be a lot of reasons why you feel like you hate your Mom. I felt like that when I was younger, but as I got older I realized that most of what she did was for my best interest or protection. As a mother now I realize she did it all out of love, but back then, all I seen was that she was being cruel and unfair. Not the case. Talking really does solve a lot of things. Sit down to a girls night out dinner and talk about these feeling like adults, you can both explain your sides and listen with an open heart, to REALLY hear what she is saying.

Questions:
Why do you think you hate your mom?
How old are you?
What are your reasons for "hating" your mom?
Growing up I had times when I was convinced I hated my mother. My mother actually abadoned me as a child and when she came back into my life she wasn't that great. It was to the point where I was actually up for adoption because her abuse was so extreme. Eventually she turned her behavior around and now that I'm an adult I really don't have to put up with her behavior. I have forgiven her for everything she put me through and have decided to work on our relationship. I don't want to be angry. It's more effort for me to "hate" her than it is to forgive her, so I've decided to be the bigger person in this situation. Now I'm not exactly sure what your situation is, but it is possible to have some very negative feelings towards your parents. Just because they are your parents that doesn't mean everything is going to be great 100% of the time, but as in any relationship you both have to make an effort to make it work.

I'm an adult, and sometimes I could cry at the cruel things my mom says. She was telling me the other day about an Oprah show where someone said today everyone is either rich or they are poor, there is no in between. I said, well then I must be poor. My mom got hysterical laughing and said, Oh yeah you are , because they said fat people are usually poor. She is so hurtful sometimes.

There are times we all get upset with things our mothers say or do, but that is only natural. The older you get, the more you will see how much she has done for you, and sacrificed for you, and always tried to take care of you, even when you were sick. Only a mother, will be there for you when NO ONE else will!! My Mother, has been dead for 7 years now, and I would give anything to just see her one more time! Life is too short, try to understand her better even when it is hard at times. Good Luck!

Liek, yeh.
But only sometimes.
Most of the time I love her, and would never think of loosing her. Ever.
Maan.. I swear I just got tears in my eyes for the sole thinking of losing her.. even if I know that has to happen someday..
