Only when the question deserves a rebuke.

That's not my usual demeanor to respond to people rudely; there have however, been occasions where someone's comments genuinely rubbed me the wrong way. I am not referring to a difference of opinion, because all opinions are as valid as mine. I refer instead to occasions when someone's apparent insensitivity to other people seemingly begs for a harsh redress...and even at those times I take a deep breath before answering to temper my response with some measure of congeniality. How well I succeed I leave to you to determine. At any rate, thanks for your unique insight.

I've always liked the saying, "Ignorance is fixable, but stupidity is forever." So the only time I'm "mean" is when someone is prejudiced or deliberately being a moron.

You've really got to work at p*ssing me off, but when you succeed, you'll know you've done something.

Mean... I don't think so. I might not sugercoat some of my answers. But sometimes a person needs to here the truth that way.

I try not to be mean, though at times I may come off as being a bit jerky if I tell what I think of the situation.

I am not mean when I answer, but there are some folks that are just asking for it. When you see those questions, you really have to wonder "Are there really people who think this way at this age?"

Some questions are soooooo stupid they deserve to be answered accordingly. I really try to give great answers(and I guess I do cause I keep getting voted best answer) but with some ?'s, come on how else can I respond? Example of a ? that I saw-"Will eating my poo help me to loose weight"? Hey, you try and answer that one nicely.

If you want help with a problem or a question this is not the best place to find it.
Talk to your mom.dad/brother/sister/priets/minister/rabbi, or friend.
Posting questions here leaves you open to sarcasm and ridcule.

I agree with you. Some people have no regard for others feelings and should leave well enough alone! I would never do that.
