Ask your Orthodontist how long "YOU" will have to have them!

Everyone is different, the braces anywhere from 1 to 4 years, depending on the extent of treatment your mouth needs. The headgear (expander's) anywhere from 1 to 2 years.
Do not stop using it! It will get better for a while, till they tighten them again. It is a cycle that you have to go through for great looking teeth, and a good bite.

The "Secret" is to take Motrin 1 Hour before you go to the Orthodontist, then every 4 hours after your visit; for the first 24 hours. Watch what you eat at first, Eat soft foods.

Keep reminding yourself that it is for a great cause.

mmm
I remember those days.

They leave the expanders on as long as they need them. It really has no time frame (unfortunately)

Just eat lots of italian ices and take lots of advil.

=/

Sry if I wasn't too helpful, but it's the truth.

Your dentist/orthodontist should have told you when they put it in.
