Haha, cats are the greatest. The cat either ate it or hid it somewhere really special (like in a shoe, under the covers, etc.)
Reminds me of a couple of weeks ago. I came home and found a lizard tail and a lizard foot in my kitchen floor. Then I saw the lizard lying in front of my bathroom. I about had a heart attack and ran out the door. I went to my brother and sister in laws house, and my brother in law came back to get the lizard.....NO LIZARD! I freaked out and assumed that the cat had eaten the remainder....Until the next day, when the lizard reemerged, dragging itself across my floor. My sister in law came and chucked it outside. It was disgusting.
I don't think you have to worry about this though...Unless the mouse is possessed. Just watch where you step!

Good job, your cat loves you and s/he wants to brag how good a hunter s/he is. Just say a good word and clear out the head. Your cat did probably eat the rest of the mouse. Which is good, there are the necessary nutrients for the cat in it. Don't force too much food on him/her tomorrow though.

Mine has a habbit of doing this also. Mine would leave gifts on the last step of the stairs when he came in at night and I would get a really Nice surprise in the morning! Squelch! I expect your little darling has either eaten it or left it in the garden check outside. We sorted our problem by locking the cat flap if he was not in before we went to bed.
Good luck.

Have a good look around your house its probably hidden it somewhere. If not in a short time there will be a terrible stench. My two cats bring mice home often and I have found them under the bed etc. Its just showing its effection and that it loves you.

I don't konw. Your cat probably ate the rest of the mouse. My aunt and uncle have a similar problem with their cat in France.

what's a "May cat" and how did it "just 12:50am"?
The rest of the mouse did not wonder off and forget it's head. The cat enjoyed it and left you the head as a treat. That's what ordinary cats do. I'm not sure about "May cats".

It's inside the cat.
(My cat is just the same, but she leaves the tail and what looks like the stomach on my bedroom floor.
