i dont know, but recently guys seem to be getting into this metro sexual thing. which is really cool.....if you're gay. i mean dont get me wrong i like to look good for a girl. but i'm not about to start getting manicures, waxing my body, or asking my friends if the earthtones i'm wearing looks good or not. i'm sorry but that's what a guy is they are supposed to be kinda hairy and masculine; unless you're like one of those cats, or like that kid in the movie powder. but seriously alot of guys are one bj away from being full blown gay. Agree? Disagree?

Totally not just you, I think the same, it is quite sad really. Everyone is making all this noise about the metrosexuals and how fantastic it is and how women love it. So more men are getting less manly putting their hair in little plaits, not wearing some clothes because they aren't in fashion. I know men wearing makeup has been around since the beginning of time but its just getting out of hand now and for some girls who like guys to be guys its getting quite disturbing.

I mean don't get me wrong some guys go to far with the masculine thing, I know a guy whose armpit hair is long enough to be plaited and he does put it in plaits sometimes. That is overdoing it, but really if I want hairless, make-up pasted people who spend more time in the bathroom than me and have next to no testosterone I'll make out with my females friends instead.

There is a school of thought that says its because more male people are getting raised in single parent families in which the mothers is the boss of the house and they have no suitable, reliable or sensible male role models, so they unintentionally use the role model they do have their Mothers.

It is just a theory but I think its a very good one.

TOTALLY AGREE---I 'm glad to hear someone else shares my opinion. I'm tired of pulling up next to a car in traffic, looking and seeing -long clear nails on the wheel --- Long hair---, dreads, plats even cornrows---(I love to see these things on girls) and then when traffic starts to move it's discovered That it's a guy. That is really starting to make me sick to my stomach. I don't think that guys really know how gay they look and sound when they have long hair and manicured nails, talking about " I got longer hair than you this month dog-- how long U been growing your hair?" This is what all the women in my family talk to each other about when we gather, so I can't imagine how these guys call themselves real men when they are looking more and more fem. with each inch of new growth that they take senseless pride in. Tell me-- when has it ever been a mans place to sit between a Girls legs to get his hair done? that does not even sound right---call me old fashioned or whatever but I'm a MAN and I send my girlfriends to get their hair done and look cute. If I said to them" need to get my hair done-- they would think I'm some type of b*#!h or something and I couldn't blame em.

I'm one of those guys that feel uncomfortable around gay guys, and I have no idea why. I like football (not soccer), fishing and guns, and I prefer shots of whiskey versus those fruity drinks and sometimes my socks don't match. Also, I'm ashamed to say that I'm attracted to tall, slutty women with big ****.

Sometimes people make me feel unsophisticated because I don't know how to order wine at restaurants or because I don't shop at Banana Republic. Don't get me wrong, I'm all grown up and all, but hey even us middle aged guys got feelings.

So if some guys want to wax their bodies, put on makeup, or do whatever, then good for them. I wont put them down so long they don't put me down. And to tell you the truth, I don't know if they're turning into girls because I really don't know any guys like that. But if they're happy and not bothering anybody, then I don't mind.

I think men and women are quit similar in many respects. Men want to feel sexy too but it has always been seen as non masculine. But now that guys have a little more room to explore they invite the idea of being able to sex themselves up.

Makeup was originally worn by men in Egypt. And even in early America... George Washingtons times.

I'm not saying I want to was and wear makeup but guys want to feel sexy too and this may just be an excuse to have a little fun with it.

Boils down to this...

Men act the way they do in a lot of ways because it is how we believe we are supposed to act, we are all products of culture.

people are affraid to be different or even admit to things that are out of their comfort relm. That's why so many people hate on this even though they deep down have no problems with it.

And girls... what are you afraid of.. you're bf being prettier then you... well that'd be gay.

One other thing... just for kicks and giggles... Did you know that in ancient Rome... Boys/men were the sex objects of men. A man would have sex with a women out of necessity and a man for lust... Now that's gay.. not the stuff you speek of here....

Agree. Real men have dirt under their fingernails and even more dirt on their work clothes.
These metro guys might as well go out and buy all the pink they can find, wear it and then drop to their knees for that bj to push them into fagdom.

No, I don't agree, it doesn't have anything to do with being gay or not. For most guys it's following a fashion, probably because they think that's what women want. However some of us still like an old fashioned butch guy.

Ouch! That is rough. I am a metrosexual and I am very heterosexual. I still only need 20 minutes to iron, and the 3s's. But I look like a thug. You must be talking about those acrombie type guy's. LOL.

First of all, people can be anyway they want to be. It's none of your Damn business. Who defines gender really? Why does a girl have to be a certain way and a guy another? We must we put limits on each other. I suggest you expand your horizons and stop being so judgmental.

girls like guys that deal with the way they are. maybe they no that they aren't perfect, but it's hot to see that someone you like can take care of the problem in a non-gay sort of way.

guys need to act like guys, and stay away from all the feminine stuff in the world that they could possibly use to make themselves "more perfect".
