It depends where they're fighting. Hand-to-hand combat, the ninjas would win. Pirates may have swords and guns, but ninjas have swords as well as ninja stars, are fast, more agile and better trained. Pirates rely too much on brute force. But, if the pirates can get to their ship, there's not a lot the ninjas can do.

It must be taken into account that pirates have a tendency to 'wing' things without much of a plan, while the ninja are much more organized and have a plan. So ninjas are the most likely to win

I question your premise that Pirates have more stamina than Ninjas. I take Ninjas, they would win. They have spiritual balance, physical skills and great fighting no ho. Pirates have weapons, but they rarely exercise and are drunk all too often.
I bet on the Ninjas!

The ninjas. Pirates aren't exactly the brightest bulb in the box. Plus the ninjas can do their job in total silence while the pirates are likely to be noisy.
Oh, and that star one of you referred to a while back is called a shuriken.

It really depends on what is the competition:
1) A fight to the death inside of a dojo - The Ninjas
2) A fight to the death to determine who clones 3 million copies of the latest Britney Spears CD - The Pirates

i assume its on a pirate ship because you can't really keep 100 pirates together unless they're at sea, so in that case I'd go with the pirates because ninjas have nowhere to hide on a ship. plus, i like pirates, YYYYAAAAAAAARRRRRR!!
