despite old wives tales about arthritis and other nonsense... there is nothing wrong with popping your knuckles, back, neck, or any other joint as long as it's not accompanied by pain... in fact when you're stretching or twisting it's a sign that you're due for a good stretch and you might need and adjustment in that joint. if you're popping and snapping quite a bit during the day you might wanna see a chiropractor... but the popping and cracking itself is nothing to worry about if there's pain in the joint... if htere is pain in the joint when it pops then definitely see a chiropractor

I read an article on MSN that said that there is no study that proves that cracking/popping your bones is detrimental (aka causing arthritis, etc.), so I doubt it's a big deal, unless it hurts. If it hurts, something could be popping out of place, then you should probably see a doctor.

Your bones crack or pop during exercising if you haven't done much activity recently. You need to work out regularly.

Its better not to do, the reason is very simple if its in your habbit you will do it unintentionally or intentionally while exercise or work out.

As long as it doesn't hurt when it pops. Its just air under the skin. I asked the same question to my Dr. She said it was cool just as long as it doesnt hurt.

If it's unintentional then that's fine, your body is doing it on it's own, but I wouldn't do it on purpose.
