Does she play at all? I have a kitten and she used to never leave her bed and we found out that she was sick. Kittens dont like to do much if they dont feel good, same goes for older cats.

If she is playing still then maybe she really likes her box. Maybe get her a new one so it doesnt smell.

NO WAY!! my cat will sit an ony bok he can find.
one time we saw him about two houses down from ours and he was sittin on a box that was on the top of a dumster.
it is perfictly normal. i think that the boxes are cool and cats just like the feel of them. just try getting the bok out into a closed trash can out side and yur cat will probly just find a nice spot somewere in the house to sleep and go pee out side. hope i helped.

p.s if you have to get rid of him give him to a shelter and tell them what he was doing they might be able to help him!!

Congratulations on getting a sparkling kitty. Kitty is drowsing in her clutter container because that's the in simple terms position she feels mushy -- that's new to her after all, new smells, new sounds and no momma to guard her. you ought to attempt getting a cardboard container (more beneficial than a shoe container yet not huge) and positioned a tender towel in it so she will have the capacity to snuggle. perhaps provide her a toy. putting her in the lavatory changed into an excellent theory because a small position facilitates her get used to the domicile devoid of hiding. you ought to favor to visit her often times. sit down on the floor and confer mutually with her. attain out with treats. She'll get used to you that way and then come to you. She'll move slowly on your lap and also you ought to puppy her. in basic terms be affected man or woman and she or he'll come round. provide her a minimum of a week, perhaps 2, in the lavatory. Then once you imagine she's waiting in basic terms open the lavatory door. do not move her "stuff" yet. i imagine you'll recognize even as she's waiting for the move.
