5 Basic Unity Principles

From the Children's Poster:
1. God is all good and active in everything, everywhere.

2. I am naturally good because God's Divinity is in me and in everyone.

3. I create my experiences by what I choose to think and what I feel and believe.

4. Through affirmative prayer and meditation, I connect with God and bring out the good in my life.

5. I do and give my best by living the Truth I know. I make a difference!

From the Adult Version Poster:
1. There is only one Presence and one Power active as the universe and as my life, God the Good.

2. Our essence is of God; therefore, we are inherently good. This God essence was fully expressed in Jesus, the Christ.

3. We are co-creators with God, creating reality through thoughts held in mind.

4. Through prayer and meditation, we align our heart-mind with God. Denials and affirmations are tools we use.

5. Through thoughts, words and actions, we live the Truth we know.

Actually I think it is refreshing to see what you just posted. I didnt know that the Unity Church went by that creed.

I think I will have to check them out because the doom and gloom of close minded Christians that I experience all the time reminds me of the Jews that didnt recognize Jesus as God. I doubt they will recognize Him when He comes again!

I have been running a Christian website and forum, and researching Christianity faithfully now for at least 4 hours of every day for the past year and a half- thats a lot of research to fully understand what those who preach dont even understand. (Before that I just read the Bible and believed blindly)

Discernment is my gift, and I believe the doom and gloom is wrong. I do not believe that we can go through life doing whatever we want without paying a price, but to look at the message from a narrow humanistic viewpoint does not flatter the God that I know Who is all powerful and loving.

I do believe that our life force is strengthened and weakened by our nature of energy. If we are a positive person and loving, we will prosper. If we are a negative and hateful person we will cease to exist.

If we believe in the positive we shall have it- thats life everlasting and all miracles come from positive energy. If we do NOT believe in the Force that is, we will not be sustained because our energy will be rejected.

(YES, I am still a Christian- I believe that Jesus Christ IS God, but I believe that few others can even comprehend Who He is. NOT because we cant, but because ego, selfishness and stubborness will blind them.)

Dear Will,

The Lord gave the church the command to go out and preach (publish) the Gospel to the whole world. The Lord also spoke of two (2) distinct kingdoms. The kingdom of darkness (lead by satan) and the kingdom of God (Christ is the Head of that kingdom). A person cannot be a member of both kingdoms. This is clearly shown in the parable of the wheat and the tares.
The Lord Jesus ustilized the church for 1955 years to be the caretaker of the Bible and to publish the Gospel. During that time, however, men began to twist the Scriptures by their interpretations rather than following 1 Corinthians 2:13. We are to compare Scripture with Scripture to allow the Bible to give us the interpretation. By not following this hermeneutic (method of Bible interpretation) the church departed from the truth and went into apostasy. That is why the Lord left the churches in 1988.
If you read the Bible, you will see this clearly explained in Matthew 24:15, 16 and Revelation 18. also 2 Thessalonians 2 gives the account that I attempted to explain above. Just as Israel had gone after "other gods" and so the Lord brought judgment upon them in 587 B.C., so the New Testament churches have set up "high places" and the Lord has brought judgment upon them all. See 1 Peter 4:17. The church age ended in 1988! The true believers (saved) are to come out of the churches but continue to study the Bible, worship the Lord, and publish the Gospel. For further info. see the website below.

Children

1. True he is omnipresent.

2.Isaiah 64:4 But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

3. Children that are not guided are easily misguided. They also think all kinds of foolish things and feel all kinds of emotions and believe in the tooth fairy... what an experience!

4. Jesus told us to pray in his name. And he also said that no one can go to the Father except by him

5. Jesus said I am the truth, the way and the life. The word also says my people die for lack of Knowledge. So no matter how much truth you know unless you know that Jesus is the truth you know no truth.

Adults

1. God's name is Jahova. Creator of Heaven and Earth and most High God. The Holy Spirit is his power and he is omnipresent.

2.Isaiah 64:4 But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

3. Go said in the book of Job " "Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much". Does he really need our help to create anything...

4. This is the only way that we align ourselves with God: For God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not come into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

6. Again Jesus said "I am the way the truth and the life" And the word also says: "My people die for lack of knowledge". Once Christ said he was the truth, then that is the truth that should be followed not the truth that makes us feel good to follow.

None is righteous, no not even one of these children in a poster.

That actually sounds pretty good to me. Thanks. I respect them as long as there isn't some weird behind the scenes stuff.
