I don't do it by percentage. I just usually give like 2 or 3 dollars, unless it was a huge order, then maybe a little bit more

Alot of people don't usually tip delivery drivers by a percentage, they give what they think is fair, ( at least not anyone I know, I'm sure SOME people do). Anyhow, give them what you think is fair. For example, if your order is about 11 dollars, give them 15. If your total is 16 dollars, give them twenty. If you go up a few dollars to the whole dollar, you avoid change, and it is easier for the both of you. Good luck, just give what you think is right.

You've got it all wrong.

Delivery drivers actually do more work then waiters, so they are entitled to as much tip. It should be between 10-20%, or 1 or two dollars for every ten. If they got their fast and your pizza was hot, then tip accordingly.

Also remember, delivery people know where you live and who you are. You should not become known as a bad tipper.

I own a delivery service and a fair tip from my part of the world is between $3-$4.

I was a driver for a few years and always thought that 2 dollars was an ok tip. I knew a guy at my work that would spit in peoples chinese food if they never tip or treated him bad.

Depending on the cost of my order I tip $2-$4. Usually when you have food delivered they already tack on a couple bucks for a delivery charge.

I tip double the sales tax = 8% X 2 = $.16 per dollar or more. The guys in my neighborhood work hard!

It depends on the size of the order & what kind of food. Pizza from a chain $3.00 to $5.00. A real resturant , same as a waiter 15% to 20%.

15% or mutiply the amount of the pizza by .15...so if the pizza is 10 dollars the tip is $1.50.
