All Bibles with the exception of a few rare printings had 80 books until the 1880's. These are called the Apocrypha books. The book of Tobit was also found in the dead sea scrolls which is one of the Apocrypha books. The Catholics go by two Bibles, one is the original Catholic Bible (KJV) which now only has 66 books and the other is the Douay Rheims which has most of the Apocrypha books but not all.
Do not believe the lies that Luther in the reformation took them out, his German Bible has them all in it. The reformation did not remove them and the protestants embraced them until 120 years ago. Many religions in Europe still have 80 books in them. In the day of the apostles they had over 200 scriptures to read from and no NT yet. People can say what they want but i own many antique Bibles and the Apocrypha books are everywhere. All these Bibles had them : Great, Bishops, Matthews, Latin Vulgate, Geneva, Luther's, Douay Rheims, and the KJV. The NIV claims to be translated from the dead sea scrolls but this is a lie also for no NT books were found in the caves but Apocrypha books were and they were rejected and not put in.

the answer you received from pontiuspilate is most accurate.
all the antique bibles i have ever seen have the apocrypha in them.
i have studied this but am not great at details, as far as the reformation, and the removal of the books and why. but i do know that there is a book called "The Forbidden Book" by Dr. Craig Lampe. you will find the history of the bible most intriguing if you are willing to read this book.
in the meantime, i feel that pontiuspilate is the most accurate in your answerers, so he deserves your vote for best.
hope this helps.

The Holy Bible?...they are all the same since they all carry the same material. Of course if one is a study Bible, it will have more pages because it has less scripture on each page to have room for the study material. But they all have the same amount of verses and books. If there are more books, then they are not from God and are not the Bible.

Actually, the Catholic church accepts certain books as scripture that other branches of Christianity don't - these extra books are called the apocrypha (meaning hidden things).
When these books were being translated in 450 AD it was noted that no Hebrew copies existed making their authenticity seem suspicious. They were eventually rejected by the Protestants during the Reformation.

The Catholic bible has seven more books than the King James Version. It's one of those things I learned when I converted.
