What is the common reason a guy loses interest in a girl he really fell hard for at first? Consider that they just started dating...say several weeks.

Before we get to know a person, through dating etc. We have an imaginary idea, of what they are like. Mostly based on how they look.
After dating for several weeks, you now know the true person. At that time, you either decide, this is a person you like to be with, or you don't.
If you dont like them, as well as you thought you would, then it's time to move on. Nothing wrong with that, that's why we date in the first place, so we can get to know each other better.
Sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn't, as in your case.
All you can do, is shrug it off, and move on, it's all chemistry, and sometimes, it just isn't there. No ones fault, just a matter of fact.

Irritating habits can quickly make a man lose his appeal, I've had several women I'd gone for right off the bat for their fun level only to be sickened shortly thereafter by watching them strip in public or constantly flash their male friends or only listen to Fifty Cent. Also I suppose finding out that they are a sex change success or have a history of violence might influence a man.

I would have to say that if he was interested at one point and he isn't anymore. I would have to say that there may not be any real reason on your end but just like every relationship you get to know someone and maybe you just realize that you just don't like them as much as you thought. It could be as simple of that. I mean in the beginning of a relationship is learning about each other. Maybe they just found to make them less interested.

Well immature men, those who have unresolved issues related to their self identity are basically focussed on conquest. Not neccessarily sexual conquest, thought that is often part of the pursuit, but on getting what they don't have. Once the object of their desire is obtained, the thrill of conquest and pursuit is vanquished and they quickly loose interest.

So, if this is the case for you, you have a couple of options. One, is to deal with it and see if he gets past this immature stage. Seconldy, probably the healthiest option, is to move on. He is already looking for the next conquest, you don't want to be left in the dust! Good luck!

the excitment is gone you tried hard to see if you could get her and now you do and you just dont really want her. Dont break up with her just tell her you want to take it slow and you dont want to rush this will be better than telling her youre not interested anymore.

He saw something that wasn't true in you or you saw something wrong with him. Whatever it is it has something to do with the past. But you are better off always when this happens.

I am afraid to say it but maybe another girl has grabbed his attention. Or maybe he discovers something about the girl that cools his initial ardour.
