why do people have preferences while they have no clue who they will fall in love with? do you choose who you love or is love spontaneous? tell me. I have no idea.

We all have our preferences, but when true love comes along, that preference crap goes straight out the window!

i think we have preferences because that's what we're attracted to. And actually you do have a clue who you fall in love with. Subconciously we filter out those that dont match our preferences. For example, if i found height extremly sexy....i wouldnt date someone 5'2 when i was 5'10. i might date someone a FEW inches shorter, but thats just a compromise not a settlement. Lust is spontaneous, but love grows over time....

Love is always at first sight,sex is anytime.Some time people from different countries,states and cities fall in love;and they do not why,that is love at first sight. when you are fall in love,you do not think,you act. That is why people say love is crazy,silly and on and on. But that is how love is. If you choose who you will love,that is not love, that is Logic,but never love. Love is a deep feeling that coming, when your eyes cross the eyes of the opposite sex as a laser;hitting the heart and falling in love. I hope now you have a better idea.Good question.

love is spontaneous and people dont find it easy or ofen because they are preoccupied with their preferance of what they want their love to look like. I recommend the movie "pumpkin" with Christina Ricci, it deals with this whole subject.
