If you are asking about a good "gift," I would recommend a nicely framed photo of the three of you (you, hubby and Mother-in-Law) from the wedding day...this would have to be a gift given months after the wedding. On the day of your wedding, or before, I would recommend jewelry. A simple pearl piece...maybe just a pendant if you don't have much moola. Or a pendant and matching earrings or a bracelet. If she doesn't like pearls, find a simple piece, or something you could engrave with a thank-you message, like a locket, with pics of you and hubby. Another thought, a charm bracelet with charms to represent you and hubby, as long as you include a nicely written sentiment, she should be happy with anything you do to show your gratitude....those are my thoughts, hope they help. -M

A good gift would be something that shows her how important she is to you and your fiance. Maybe something hand made, or personalized. Some nice jewelry she could wear at the wedding to match her dress. If she has a hobby, then something she could use for it. A scrap book of pictures and things. A scroll in fabric or glass/crystal with a special poem or saying.
Whatever you choose to give, make sure to include a thank you card.

Something that expresses your appreciation. And I don't mean financially. A card with a heartfelt message, special recognition at the wedding in a toast, or something that will make her feel really special that day.

Consult with your fiancé to see what he thinks, too! Hopefully he knows her well enough to help.
