When I had my first child, I was 21, which is way too young in my opinion. At the time, I was working at a private pre-school where several of the other teachers were pregnant, and it became a novelty. Although I was way too immature to bring a child into the world, I guess you could say I had a "Madonna" experience where I became very nurturing and unselfish all of a sudden. My husband and I stepped up to the challenge and started reading a lot of parenting books and starting our own family traditions.
The one thing I would've done differently is I would've finished college first so that I wouldn't have to do it in my thirties! You have to take care of yourself educationally, emotionally, and financially first because when you have kids, all of that goes on the back burner.

At first my husband was the one that wanted children I was a little unshore about having one. I guess I can say I never really was shore of having a kid untill my daughter was born and I looked into her eyes and just feel in love with her. If I could go back to before it all happen I don't think I would change anything because everything in life happens for a reason.

I always knew I'd have kids. I have two boys and I can't think of anything I'd change. My oldest is 19 and away at college and we miss him a lot. The youngest is growing up quickly so we're enjoying every minute we have left as "full-time" parents before he flies the coop too.

Looking back, the only thing I'd change is I'd make sure my kids were in every picture I've taken. I was sorting through old vacation pics and have hundreds of photos of whales and lions I don't even know and I wish I'd only have had the camera on my boys because back then, I had no idea that you blink and they grow up. :)

I got pregnant at the age of 20 and had my daughter at 21! I love her to death but I cant stand her NON-working father! He completely changed up on me around my 7 month of pregnancy! So the only thing I would change is him...NOT my baby! And maybe I could have been a little older but I still debate with myself on the age topic!

I love being a mother to my sweet, sweet baby!!!
