its something to do with their "male pride." personally i think its a load of bullshit considering WE are usually the ones who have to do the big thing and ask for directions and etc.
they get mad becuz they want you and other ppl to think that they dont care and embarrass you.
if someone ever does that to you just walk away and if they keep coming after you, hurry to a public place and talk really loud about harassment charges.

Maybe they are an English major and are mad at your use of the word 'nobody'.
It should be 'any body'.
Perhaps he thinks you are turning him down for no good reason. Why he should get mad at you, for not going out with him, is anybody's guess.
Seems he has issues.

Well if a girl ever told me she was "Not looking for nobody", I would be mad that I had ever asked out such a poorly educated person. The conversations would be nightmareish.
