I love answering this one, it's a form of release!! People who: Say the same things day in day out, Hide your coffee, Take the p**s coz it's the only way they can make conversation, Throw things at you, Wearing of personal stereos, Conforming to their job WAY over the call of duty, People who constantly clean their work area's, People who work overtime because their to frightened to say NO, Talk about work during breaks and dinner times, I gotta wrap it up here there are loads more but will finish with one of the most annoying things to me! People who turn up for work 45 mins before shift starts! Their not even being paid!!!!

Well, I work at a Deli so we really don't have many people working with us. Some of the most annoying things are: not showing up for work without calling the manager, and being late. The by far most annoying thing is when my coworkers are lazy and don't help out the customers. We have a few people who will see the customers come up to the counter and actually walk away from them.

Calling in sick at the last minute, then finding out later they weren't sick at all, they just wanted a day off with pay. I don't see anything wrong with playing hooky once in a great while, but at least give enough notice to have your spot filled. So the rest of the staff is not stuck with picking up the slack. And worse yet, coming back to work bragging about getting by with it and letting everyone know what a great time they had. I think people should work as a team no matter what the job requires.

The woman who sits in the desk next to mine is the most annoying person at work because she's always coming to my desk and trying to talk. Sometimes I'm truly busy, but other times I'm here answering questions and I really DON'T want to be bothered. There's a huge age gap, and we really don't have anything in common. She tells the same old stories over and over, and it's about stuff that's boring to me. I tried at first being polite, but if I have to listen to her tell me ONE MORE TIME how Lowes screwed up her order of shingles and caused her to miss an entire day at work, I'm going to lose it.
Our phones don't ring--they flash, so I've even gone as far as to say, "Oh, hold on a second!" and pick up my phone like it was an important call. That didn't even work. Once she went back to her desk, then came right back as soon as she heard me "hang up" from my call, and the rest of the times I've done it, she stands right there at my desk and waits!
She's also a gossip. She badmouths my work friends in front of me, and she knows these people are close co-workers of mine. She's incredibly tactless and downright rude.

****-up on very clearly explained directions -- I hate people who cannot get a task done right, or who do something other than what was asked (unless their solution is better and accomplishes the ultimate goal)
Since I am a perfectionist with everything I do at work it drives me crazy when people just half-*** it and do whatever was faster / easier instead of what was asked of them....
Oh, and I do realize that "wanting things always done their way and being analabout details / result" is also a very annoying thing to people in the workplace!! ;)

Socialize endlessly and loudly while I am trying to actually work. I like to socialize too but there are times to do that and these people don't when to stop and do their work and the management doesn't even care. This is a corporate office too.

where i work, the most annoying thing is having to watch your back, people are always playing jokes...ie. dumping water on your back ( i work outside) or dropping an object into a muddy puddle nearby using a crane/loader...very annoying

They always made me work! Can you imagine?
I was always clean
Never late
And when I got there they expected me to work too! Boy! lol!
To tell the truth, what I hated the most was people who would always pretend to work hard to impress the boss and make me look bad for not putting on airs.

Some have the habit of pulling a long face for no reason, perhaps due to personal tensions. They express their moods so transparently and even take it out on colleagues. They spoil our day!
