FREE sites OH Yeh!!! Haven't heard of Youtube.com? There are many copycats for youtube trying to compete in this area.
Look in your camcorder manual for firewire. If you have this option offloading your video is much easier.
The only problem I see with putting your video on CD is that it holds only 10 min of video vs. a DVD. A DVD would hold 1 hour at high quality.
If you are not interested in a lot of editing, one option is to purchase a DVD player\recorder and backup all of the tapes for sharing and viewing.
