I am interrested in finding support groups for borderline personality and biploar disorder. A few people have suggested that I find one. Any ideas on how to locate one locally in my area? Website?

First, I would recommend meeting with a therapist and having an assessment so that they can help to narrow down your diagnosis. Then, he or she can help you find some support groups.

Best of luck! :)

There are several national support groups. One is the DBSA (depression and bipolar support alliance - see link below.) Another is NAMI (national alliance for the mentally ill).

Otherwise, you may also access groups through your local community mental health organization or insurance company.

Good luck!
