We pirates do not reveal our secret that is grog. You must first pass the "Are you a pirate" test. To do this you must shout arrrrr whilst eating a dead parrot and scratching your a*se with your left pinky. Not as easy as it sounds me laddy.

Get yourself an old Joy of Cooking, and you'll find a recipe for grog that consists mainly of spiced rum and tea, with a litte sugar thrown in. And we all thought caffeinating our alcoholic drinks was a new thing!

grog, originally a mixture of rum and water. It is named after Admiral Grogram Vernon, who first ordered the dilution of the British Royal Navy's daily rum ration. It is a mixture of rum and water. It is an excellent remedy for a cold. Just add rum, hot water, and some sugar (if you prefer it sweet). It will knock you out cold - a certain recipe for a good nights rest.
