I like this guy, and I can tell he likes me.
But let's just say I can't have him. [Long story.]
It hurts because every time I think of him I just want to be with him, and I know that I can't. He's just so cute and we're perfect for each other ugh i don't know what to do ...
I've really got it bad for him....
How can I get over him?

well one of the reasons i can't have him is because he has gf...i think they've been together for awhile....but if he was so into her, why were his eyes popping out of his head every time he looked at me? see im afraid if i'm with him while he has gf, later on that's gonna backfire on me somewhere...like karma

You know, I have the same problem, but I can't have the guy for different reasons. I think the only way to get over him is to find someone or something else to occupy your time. Getting over someone is very hard, I know. Good luck! I wish I could help, but like I said, I have the same problem and I have no idea what to do!

well chicka-- not much u can do-- i mean since u now hes off limits-- then well break away from him-- just tell him u like him an its just painfull to be near him an then just let urself go-- that means no calls no letters nothing -- go completely away from him-- or do another aproach-- try dating around-- or make new dude friends--- or even-- be ur hottest-- an flirt with him an kick this other B$#@% outta the pic-- lol cuz he cant be to serious about her if he likes u--- an why cant u have him?? sorry babe-- but if i want a man lol i get my man!

If his eyes pop out every time he sees you then there is obviously some connection. Do you really want to get over him or is it that you need to get over him? Talk to him and tell him that if he keeps on looking at you the way he does then he will have to take you out.

I fell in love with the great singer/actress Betty Hutton when I was in grade school and saw her in "Annie Get Your Gun." Obviously I couldn't have her despite the two of us being perfect for one another. I have never gotten over it. I love her to this day and wish she would give me a call. It never hurt because I am a realist and do not cry over something I cannot have.

So if you want him find some one else. Huh? if you try to find love elswhere instead of obsessing over of love you can't have you will be unknowingly finding a release. Unless you maybe can have him then tell him to get together and WHOOP THAT TRICK! Go where your heart leads you or stay single and watch how cupid works.

You know that has happened to me too. You want to be with them. When you are with them you like so happy, time flys when you with them. But there are so many reason why it won't work out. Over time things will get better. and you to will still be good friends, and when you do hang out in the future you will have a great time together, as best friends!

yeah i have been in your situation for nine yrs and still want the guy so i dont know what to tell you.... sorry sometimes it gets better with time sometimes it doesnt...just hope it does.... do what your heart tell you....can you live with yourself if you break them apart .... and waite until they split up so you can have an opportunity... or weasle your way in and feel guilty forever because maybe it wont even work out later and he should have been with her....just dont know what to tell you...sometimes you just have to leave fate alone and let it take you where it will

Quit thinking about him and find someone else. You have the power within you to do that. Even if he's perfectly wonderful, if you can't have him you can't have him. So why waste your life wallowing in self pity? Put on your happy face and go have fun!

maybe you can just be friends but if not, I know how you feel me and this one guy really liked each other but I couldn't have him because he moved away(he lives in japan,lol) I just eventually got over it and found somebody else.

Time
Getting out and being busy - hang with your friends, join sports, clubs, hobbies, volunteer in the community... places that will keep you busy doing things you like AND meeting NEW people.
it'll take time, but your brain will eventually convince your heart to look elsewhere, because where you are looking is only hurting you.
There IS someone else out there cuter, smarter, and more perfect for you than him...
