Have you ever frozen home made beef stew (that has boiled potatoes). Upon thawing to eat it, I found it to be watery and un-appetizing. So, while it can be done, it is not recommended.

if you mash them with cream and butter then in a container which is airtight and clingwrapped, you can keep them for up to 3 months inthe freezer

been cooking for 35 years . Why would you want to? no they taste awful!!!!!!!!!!
