My boyfriend of 14 months, broke up with me over the weekend.Since we live 2 hrs apart, he obviously had to call me about it.He said,"I think we should take a break from our relationship."I asked,"Why?"He said,"b/c we don't get to see each other as much as i would like, and it's hard not getting to see u very often."I said,"& you don't think it's hard for me, too, to not be able to see you too?"He said,"We don't get to talk that much, b/c we're busy, and we don't get to see each other that much."
He asked me,"Do u want to be friends?"I told him,"If that's what u want, then fine, we'll just be friends."He asked me, 3 more times if i was sure about it, & i told him that 2 more times, & then when he asked me the 3rd time, i said,"i told u my answer."He said, "fine." Now we're just friends.
I was so shocked,that i didn't even ask him anything else about why we were just friends.We just talked about other stuff.It still hasn't sunk in.What does our conversation mean?

I'm going to ask him why he just wants to be friends again tonight, since he said he's going to call. He also said, that he doesn't want to lose me as a friend.He's really the one who's busy, i'm just busy w/ homework, other than that, not really, & if i am, i'll let him know.but i can talk on the phone and do homework, he's just doing stuff out in his yard, and his job.

He says he's working, all the time. i can understand that, but surely he could have found some time (while we were still bf & gf) to call me, for longer than like 2 or 3 mins?

i won't keep calling him over and over---i've put away, all the stuff that he gave me into a box in my closet, b/c it's a painful reminder just to look at it.

it sounds like he has or wants another girl already. its rare for a guy to drop a girl without another waiting in the wings. but look at the bright side, he's being nice by trying to break up with you so he can avoid the guilt of cheating!

well hunny either he was worryed bout ur relationship an wanted to c how u felt about it... or maybe he met someone who lived closer? i think when he kept askin r u sure he wanted u to tell him no that u wanted to stay with him ya no im sorry guys r stupid an he'll be sorry good luck

It means that he is tired of you and wants you to leave him alone so he can move on to another girl.
