I used to work for a dentist, he would always tell patients not to use Tylenol on the tooth, that can actually make your problem worse, he would tell patients to smash up cloves and pack it around the tooth, but this is only a quick fix until she can get to the dentist. if her jaw and ear are hurting she may also have an infection in the tooth, anything with penicillin will help.

Insist on getting into the dentist today. There is nothing you can do except call the dentist and ask for meds.

She could take Advil or Tylenol until she can get to the dentist.

crush an asprin up in a spoon, add a few drops of water , just enough to make it pasty and rub on the tooth and gum.

Until she can get to the dentist, use ibuprofen. It really does work.

Ibuprofen and tylenol. if that doesnt help she may need something stronger - like a narcotic.
