Not at all! Nowhere in the Bible does it support the hellfire theory popularly held in Christendom. To break this down to you the Hebrew word she'ohl and its Greek counterpart hai'des refers to the common grave of mankind. For instance the scriptures say that Job asked to go she'ol or hell however your Bible might translate it. Why would righteous Job want to go to a place of fiery torment. If he wanted to escape his wretched disease why would he want to suffer forever? That doesn't make sense. Rather Job was aware that hell or she'ol was a place of rest from his suffering. Also the Bible says that the dead are not conscious of anything at all so they can't feel pain.-Eccl 9:5,10. Besides how could a loving Father burn someone forever and ever.-Jude 17:31 & 1Peter 4:8. That goes against what Jehovah stands for.

If the kid never heard of Jesus, he has never denied the Lord. That's a great position to be in, when you think about it. Christian principles and laws are for Christians. That is not to say that if you have never heard of Christianity that you will succumb to the same fate as those that simply disregard the religion. God is supreme and is pure love. I won't speculate on what will happen to the child, but I will say that God will do the right thing with him.

You are assuming that the "poor little kid that died in some third world country" is innocent. No person is innocent. All people have sinned. I think there is an age of accountability, but those who have the ability to choose will be held accountable. It doesn't sound right that God would allow me to live and another to die. I deserve to die, yet God gave me grace that I didn't deserve. We all deserve death because we have all sinned, but to say that God is unfair is a fallacy, because in doing so you'd claim to know the mind of God. This is impossible, because God has an infinite mind, and you have a finite mind.
I try to look at it differently: Rather than speculating on whether or not God will have mercy on those who have never heard, l try to eliminate the question altogether by sharing the gospel with as many people as I can.

actually that sounds very wrong. children go to heaven. whether they've heard of Jesus or even the bible. children are innocent and aren't judged up until a certain age of young adulthood...I have no clue what the age is but I do know children are treated like grown ups are. they're free to go to heaven automatically.
strict christians would know that by just glancing thru the bible children are innocent and whether or not they have any knowledge of jesus of the bible their sins are washed away.
baptizing is only one form of showing you've been saved you can be saved and a christian while never have been baptized. there's 3 forms of baptizing I'll look it up later and post if need be.

You dont know what your talking about. This is not what the christians beleive. You judge all christians by the actions a very small minority of nuts. The majority of christians are the ones in africa feeding those kids. THere in New orleans building houses for the homeless and in Indonesia helping the victims of the sunami they are all over the world doing Good things.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Your just being a Bigot.

God judges a person's heart, therefore, young children and babies do not get sent to hell. On the other hand, I know some Christians that have cold, menacing hearts and would hate to be in their shoes come judgement day!

In all points, the doctrine of the age of accountability is both inconsistent with everything that the Bible has to say about man and his fallen state, and incompatible with God's sovereign right, and lawfulness of Saving by Grace. We are all accountable by birth not by age. And if some were not accountable, then none would be accountable. For our God is a righteous God whose idea of Righteousness is far above that of man's perceptions.
Notice in Ephesians 2:3:
"We . . . were by nature the children of wrath."
That scriptures tells us that 'by nature' we are children under God's Wrath. We were always accountable for sin and therefore condemned. Moreover, another thing that should not be lost in the shuffle is divine election.
Romans 9:11
"For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil.."

All children go to heaven. They are the purest of hearts on this earth. The bible says everyone get's their chance at the kingdom, and I find that to be true. And don't sound so mad, read the bible a little more.
