go to control panel>add and remove software>scroll down to messnger>and click add/remove> it will start the step by step options and it will be uninstalled from your computer

Are you talking about Windows Messenger that comes with XP? Go to your control panel, Add or Remove Programs, select Add/Remove Windows Componenets on the side, the uncheck Windows Messenger.

Go to start>All Programs>Yahoo Messenger>(click) Uninstall

You have got two way-outs:

Option 1: Go to Start Menu -> Select all programs -> select Yahoo/relevant massenger -> select uninstall

Option 2: Go to control penals -> Select add or remove programs -> select Yahoo/relevant massenger -> select remove

Remember, whatever option you opt for, you need to restart your computer to have this effected.

it is quite simple go to your computer on desktop go to control panel and then hit add and remove programs and delete yahoo messenger there and it shall uninstall quite simply!

Right click (on your mouse) the Messenger icon
A small menu should appear
Select Uninstall

It will then ask you if you are sure you want to uninstall.

Say yes.
And BAM!
Done.
