Well he is embarassed right now, so well if he seems to be back to normal, don't let him give you some lame excuse that they were joking or anything. Believe me that's the first thing he is going to do if you start to talk to him. So well just sit him down, tell him you heard what his friends said, and before he says anything, tell him that you like him too. It will get him to smile, and feel alot more comfortable and even happy that his friends said something. And well see where it leads from there. Hopefully you end up with a boyfriend by the end of the day.

Hell Yeah go up to him & ask him what he thinks of you & maybe if you like him back then go ahead & ask him if he wants to hang out after school one day or maybe something else like that but that is if you like him & also if you like him then tell him that you like him & then maybe he will ask you out instead.

Just say "hi." whenever you see him.
don't refer directly to the event that must have REALLY embarrassed him.
You might say "sometimes my friends embarrass me so badly i wish i were invisible or something."

you should start talking to him and then make it into a long conversation. just keep flirting with him and eventually he'll ask you out.
