The holy spirit has given you even this desire, to know and ask this question. And no matter what this world has told you, continues to tell you, there is this spot in your heart that says, what if?.... what if the scriptures are true? It only takes faith the size of a mustard seed, remember that, the rest grows after you become knowledgeable and perfected in that faith by learning and hearing the word. Why do you have to ask him into your heart if you already believe in his death, burial and reserrecution? Because there is believing and then there is believing unto salvation. anyone can accept who he was, but will they accept that he came to them and for them personally? Salvation is a very personal thing. You must be willing to not only believe, but ask him into your heart, and ask for the forgiveness he so freely gives. And yes, it is our free will, he forces no one to love him or accept him. He only died for you after all, imagine how it hurts him to then be rejected. And how the enemy loves to confuse you, how he loves to put further distance between God and those that God loves.

There are different kinds of faith such as, faith that the sun will come up, faith that you will be here tomorrow, faith that you will be able to pay you bills and etc. The kind of faith that God wants from us is faith (belief) that Jesus is God's only begotten Son, that He died on the cross, in our place for our sins, and acceptance of Him as our Lord and Savior. This is the saving kind of faith. Yes, faith about Jesus comes before you ask Him into your heart. God didn't make us to be robots. One can have this faith and then decide not to act on it. The story of the sower of the seeds in Matthew tells us this.

We are all born with a certain amount of faith. For instance,we have faith in our parents to take care of us.We have faith that we will wake up the next morning. We have faith that the air we breathe is clean. You catch my drift. The faith we need to believe in God and to ask Jesus into our hearts comes from that faith we were born with. Once we step out on a limb with that faith, that is when God will strenghthen that faith to give you what you need to cotinue your walk with Him. It's all by faith.

A friendship is based on trust, and trust is something that only develops over time. God makes promises, people choose whether or not to give God a chance to prove himself. Faith (trust) is something everyone has, but it increases by seeing how God works.

Your question makes no sense, it goes around and around in a circle without any clear purpose.
You don't have to have faith in Jesus to ask him into your heart, many ask him into their heart to help them understand and to gain faith, particuarly when they are doubting, unsure or in despair of their situation. Just because you ask, doesn't mean you will accept him into your heart, or into your life.

Jesus said, "No man can come to Me unless the Father draw him." You are given the grace from the Father to accept or reject Jesus when your moment of decision comes. No one twists your arm.

Where is the Biblical example or command for someone to ask Jesus into their heart to be saved?
Where is the Biblical example of anyone after Jesus rose from the dead to establish his church and his new covenant (the New Testament) of anyone saying a "sinners prayer" to be saved?
Many preachers teach that to be saved you should ask Jesus into your heart or say a sinners prayer, but where is this found in the New Testament?
Some point to Acts 2:21 that says, "whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved", but later in that same chapter Peter told them to repent and be baptized "for the remission of sins".
To call on his name means more than to say "Lord, Lord". (Matthew 7:21)
It also means more than praying. Saul had been praying for three days (Acts 9:9-11) when he was told "arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord." (Acts 22:16)
Calling on the name of the lord means to rely on his authority and do what he says. Jesus said, "He that believes and is baptized shall be saved." (Mark 16:16)

First nobody can come to the Father except through his son Jesus Christ who died and shed his blood for you.
It Is the sinnless blood of our lord and Savior Jesus Christ that makes us exceptable to the Father and nobody can go to the Father except through the Son Jesus Christ and that Is why we Pray In The Name Of Jesus

Without evidence of existence, You must have faith that it exists.
Faith without proof, Means that you make your own rules or believe someone Else's rules that they made up.
