Can you imagine how much Allah hates a pig ear that's been chewed on by a dog? It would be all covered with dog saliva! That's like double haram! What would you do if you were a groundskeeper and you found a pig ear with dog spit all over it?

l am a muslim, first of all let correct something Allah does no hate pig (Allah created it in the first place) Allah forbid us from eating its meat and any thing made out of pigs. It's haram to eat anything from pig but we are not instructed to this animal in any way muslim should treat animal kindly. if I was aground keeper i suppose I would be wearing a gloves and protective clothes any way and I would be using tools for cleaning and stuff like that. I would simply throw them gloves. working in a store that sells this stuff is something I would ask a muslim scholar about.

Harry remember that both dogs and pigs are made by Allah. I will relate a well known story for you to understand where we are coming from. Dogs are considered dirty animals because of their habbit of having sex in packs on the street, and making a big ruckus in broad day light. If you have been to a third world country where this can take place, you will understand what I mean. They also tend to acquire rabies and pass on to their masters or their children. This was the basis for the laws against dogs. Yet, it is still allowed according to the Islamic laws to use dogs for protection as long as you do not come in contact with them regularly or if they are not inside your house.

Pigs are also dirty animals who like the sewage to cool their skin and explore the feces to find things to eat. What the pig eats and absorbs ultimately becomes a part of its body. YOU think about this when you eat pork next time and think of me, Ali..lol.

This is an accepted story during the life of the Prophet. A man brought a dog with him to Medina, when the law was in place to not allow dogs in public places. Some companions of the Prohet brougth that complaint to the Prophet. He called the man to explain why he brought the dog with him.

The man said he was travelling in a caravan that he regularly travels with on his business trip. On his way back at one of the stations he fell asleep. As the caravan was beginning to move, he wanted to sleep a little more and was confident he will catch up later. He woke up a bit late and began to follow the caravan and got lost in the desert. He became very thirsty and was getting worried that he will die, when he began to see signs of where the caravan had passed after drifting some. He knew the next stop where there were wells. At that next stop he went to seek some water, but he did not have a rope or bucket to draw the water. So, he had to very carefully lower himself into the well to get a drink of water. As he was going in, he saw a thirsty dog which had been left behind by someone perhaps after learning on the restrictions on dogs entering Medina which is where the Caravan was travelling to.

He felt sorry for the dog, and when he went to get water for himself, he filled a leather sack of water for the dog too. After he gave water to the dog, the dog kept following him. He did not have the heart to abandon the dog, so the dog followed him into Medina. When he was finished, the Prophet hugged him and praised him for showing compassion to the dog and for getting him water while balancing himself as he came out of the well.

Gabriel according to this narration at that point brought a message from the Lord MOST HIGH to give the good news of paradise to the man for saving the life of the dog and for showing compassion to a creature of the HOLY ONE!!!

Please keep this in mind in the larger scheme of things. Allah neither hates the pig nor the dog. Pigs are scavengers that clean up the Earth. Allah has made other scavengers on land, sea and the skys such as the vultures. Allah does not want his good people to eat up the scavengers for many reasons.

I hope this answers your question.

Most don't care about what the dog eats or chews on. More don't even consider the consequences of their acts. A slimy pig's ear would gross out even a Christian I shoud think! lol

To reiterate the above answer: Sigh, sigh, sigh, 'ear we go again...

We would employ YOU as the groundskeeper, then you can enjoy it with the dog.

Well, if I was a Muslim, I would spontaneously combust, obviously. The smell of bacon is banned in Afghanistan, you know...

If you were a Christian, and you worked at Asda filling the halal shelves, would you puke up and resign?
