I see your point. If they are trying to find a cure for homosexuality and a million other things that are not diseases, then why not Christianity, right?
Unfortunately, our politicians run things in the U.S. and they all (well almost all) adhere to some christian dogma. They leave those who are Jewish, Catholic, Pagan, Wiccan,Buddhist or other religion or spirituality out in the cold.
Christians want to pray the world better and foster an image of goodness for all. Their belief that homosexuality is a "disease" is archaic and ignorant, but if they refuse to enlighten themselves and wish to remain in the dark ages, there is little we can do but ignore them.
I'm glad you posed the question you did. Maybe it will make others think!
As someone who lost a loved one to cancer ( a very REAL disease), I am not too fond of these judgmental hypocrites who sit back and demand cures for a disease that does not exist.
Good luck to you! Thanks for asking this one.

Another goofball question from this no-life dud!
Acts 8:9 (KJV)
But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

I consider myself a Christian, although I don't accept a great deal of the orthodoxy. and I thought your question was funny as h*ll. Thanks for the entertainment.
Seriously, I think they should try to cure Scientology first, though. All that couch jumping can't be safe. Soemone's going to get hurt.

No. It is a belief system not a disease. However, I am beginning to question tolerance in the liberal enviroment. Much distress.

The cure is education.

I can see why you're at Level 1.
Have you studied Religion, Philosophy, Eastern Philosophies, etc.? Unless you've done in-depth understanding of all Religions, you have no reason to criticize them.
