I'm not really interested in going out with anyone. I know I'm not gay by the way. I'm a 22girl and I do find guys attractive, but I'm just not interested in dating, or being all up in anyone's face. I never ever have been. Is there something wrong with me. When I was younger I thought and everyone else did too that I was just a slow developer, but now that I'm 22 I know that can't be the case. Don't get me wrong I have feelings like everyone else, but I don't know, I'm just not interested. Does this mean I'm asexual or is there something else wrong with me. And if I am aexual what exactly does that mean? Exactly.

Asexual = Not interested in being intimate with anyone ever.

I don't think this is the case though. I just think that you have great respect for yourself, and you are dealing with your own life and getting all your ducks in a row before investing in locating that "special one". That's actually a noble thing to do, and I commend you for it. Don't worry so much. Who cares what others think anyway, as long as you are comfortable with yourself?!?! Enjoy it. You will know what to do when the right time comes my dear. Good luck and have a great day!

You are not asexual.

Asexuality is not present in humans. So unless you are some sort of organism that reproduces by budding or something of the like, you are not asexual.

However, there is nothing wrong with how you feel. You're at an age where you still have other priorities. And there is nothing wrong with that. Are you a career minded person? If so, there is the answer to your question.

Don't try to push yourself into dating because everyone wants you to, just wait until you are ready and you really like someone. Trust me, it will happen.

However, if you do start budding, sorry. [=

yes there really is a thing, i know someone who is completely asexual, she likes the companionship of having someone but doesnt want the physical - doesnt dislike it just doesnt want it.

Some asexuals were abused, or traumatized which led to the development of asexual behaviors and others it is chemical or just something they developed. nothing wrong with you. Just keep friends and pet so you don't get lonely :)

That means you are not interested in the opposite sex and sex at all. If you have no feelings to get engaged with anyone sexually or relationship wise than that means you are asexual.

I think there's nothing wrong with you. Nobody has to be interested in the opposite sex in general... I think you'll be interested in the right PERSON when he comes along. He'll be someone who will light your fire. :)

There's probably nothing wrong with you at all. Everybody's different. You just haven't found Mr Right yet.

/They are making a slang term out of a term used in biology to describe plants and animals. You are fine. You will date when someone who interests you finally comes along.
