Different Saviours. Different places you go when you die. Different ways of earning Salvation. For Example Buddhist's and Hindus believe you are reincarnated as animals. Mormons believe Men Go to Heaven where they have sex and get women pregnant for the rest of Eternity, A mormon's womans Heaven is giving Birth to children for the rest of Eternity. A true christian's Heaven is spending Eternity with Jesus Christ in a perfect place that requires no sunlight or dependance on anything because it is all provided and perfect by God and there is no Night time, No Ocean, The streets are paved with Gold and Everyone has a Mansion.

LOL...you got 20 years or so to spare? You might want to go to About.com and click on the different religions. I took a 3 credit college class on religions of the world and we only hit the top 8 and that was putting in a lot of hours and we basically only skimmed them (for instance, there are over 100 gods/avatars in Hinduism alone...all with complex rituals and purposes and inter relationships with the other Gods). There are over 1000 religions in the world today...looks like you've got a bit of study ahead of you, sorry!

You have got to be kidding? You want some one to explain all of those religions? That would take hours of typing. My dissertation was shorter. I will tell you this though, Agnostics are confused and don't know what to believe, Athiests they are confused, but won't admit it so they say there is no God. Buddhists go around worshipping a man from India who went to china and believe you will come back through reincarnation,(yeah right), Catholics believe pretty much as Christians, but they missed the boat a little and pray to dead humans for help and worship Mary the mother of Jesus, Christians ( which I am ) worship God and His Son Christ Jesus who died for the sins of all men who recieve him, Scientology, boy now there is winner for, " there is a sucker born every minute award" if I ever saw one. Mormons, that is another winner of the sucker born every minute and is a false type of Christianity. That takes to long to explain in and of itself. The main gist though is, Joseph Smith claimed to have devine revelation from God and wrote his own book called the book of mormon. ( small letters on purpose ). In that book you will find that it claims around 880 BC this was the land of plenty with horses, sheep and cattle. Huh? White man brought all of those over in the 1500s with the Conquistadors. The book is a cartoon to say the least. Does that help any? Now go read for yourself if you want. It took me years of study to learn.
But remember this, " There is a sucker born every minute." by P.T. Barnum. Start with the Bible, I think you will find it is the best book you will ever read. Start with the Book of John. Best place to start.

Agnostics believe there is no evidence for or against a God

Athiests believe there is no God

Catholics and Mormons are both branches of Christianity

Scientologists are... ummm... different

Hindus believe there are many Gods

Buddhists are, I believe, more about love and finding a spiritual path than any God in specific
This should get you started

Umm.. the only relevent cult is Scientology, although I think Heavens Gate is still around [www.heavensgate.com], but they keep killing themselves before I can find out.
LDS (mormon) is the true church, being restored and lead by God and revelation, like the bible says it should be run.
Chatholic is falling apart, because no one there is following the commandments (I was chatholic), and Buddhist worships a man.
