Get them to a doctor! They could be suffering from the after effects of a stroke if not over-medicated. If you are considering this all now, you probably already know! :O

if they are saying stupid stuff and is not stupid and sleeping maybe the medication is not filtering through the blood stream
sometimes medication stay with us longer than normal cut back

Sometimes it is a drug interaction (2 or more drugs that shouldn't be taken together cause they interact and create a dangerous side effect) This happened to my father because the VA doctors and pharmacists were 'too busy' to check their PDR (physicians desk reference) to see that the latest drug they put him on was deadly if taken with one they already had him on...killed him. The only person that i know that over medicates is my sister-in-law. She slurs her speech, and her eyes are like half shut , and she walks real slow and sometimes she pees on herself. Hope that will help-lol.

they might be:
unconicus
unresponsive
dead
slured speech
if any if symptoms are present call 911
