When I was 40 lbs lighter, I had women looking at me and wanting to meet me left and right...now, I barely get noticed.
I'm the same person, just more of me.
Yes, I am trying to lose the weight too but still....why so shallow?

The truth about people is that we are all superficial. I've discussed this many times with friends and I came to the conclusion a long time ago that everyone is superficial whether they want to admit it or not. When we are attracted to people we usually see the outside first. That is what makes us approach a person even if beauty remains in the eye of the beholder. Consider how you may have looked at women before you gained weight. I'm not saying it's right, but just that it's natural. Perhaps this way, when you do meet someone she will have a true gold heart if she is able to see beyond your exterior.

I have the same deal going. I've lost weight and now guys are falling over each other to get at me. It hurts my feelings cause I am the same person! I hate the shallow nature of human beings. I think it has to do with intelligence. The less you have the more shallow you will be. Be happy you are not that way.

Because girls are BORN shallow and some aren't, probably like 80% of the population of the girls are shallow... u r just wasting ur time with the wrong girls (this may be weird but gaining weight may have been a good thing... now it will be easier to sort through shallow and nice girls!) Good Luck!

You are not the same person physically. I'm sure you have done the same thing to the opposite sex. I know I have. It's a cruel world we live in, but you have to remember that the first thing we see is the outside, the goal is to convince the opposite sex that the inside is just as, if not more, attractive than the outside.

Because you re shallow too, since u can notice that difference. I bet you are probably behaving different since you gain weight. Afraid of been rejected or somthing like that. Girls smell doubt...

and YES personality IS everything BUT the looks is what draws the person in, and it also how u carry yerself is it with CONFIDENCE or INSeCUrITY, YES we can tell or at least i can

also, some people just aren't attracted to that sort of thing. They can't force themselves to be attracted to you, it is just something that happens. Attraction is necessary in a relationship. You WILL find someone who is attracted to you, don't worry.
