Dating at 13 is kind of young don't you think. You are in a bind though since your culture forbids dating at any age. I would wait until I was 18 and move out. Depending on where you live, you may find other moderate Muslims such as yourself, hang out with them. Jesus loves you.

Are you a muslim boy living in the USA? If so, you are immersed in a culture which is a stark contrast to your strict traditional muslim culture. Girls and boys in the USA are expected to date, select their own mates and marry the person of their own choice. It is a cultural norm. Your parents will probably not condone dating for you. Will talking change their minds? You ask if it's wrong and I have to ask by which standards? I'm sure it is very difficult for you, but you will have to decide what is more important. Dating is not all it's cracked up to be and I have friends who are in arranged marriages who are very happy. On the other hand, there is much to be said about freedom of choice and selecting one's own path. You must decide for yourself and at 13 that could be a big decision. im also 13 year old muslim. but i recomend u get some answers from muslims and not pay attention to people who are trying to tell u to do something bad. but i have heard the dateing leads to many things. tuching kissing and thus leading to more like zina. and thas haram. maybe u can be friends with a gurl but dont say i love u and stuff like that but talk to her as if talking to ur dude friendz. u dont sound like a 13 year old who acts like a kid.
u sound mature so u should know this if not try to be ahead of ur time.

now you are in a race to be somebody not any body you mustn't enter this way you are very young .and the most important thing is your religion and your ethics which prevent dating at all

If you are 13 and serious I think you're too young for dating. Kids are way to imature to handle the mature aspects of dating. Some adults can't even handle it !!! Enjoy being a kid! You'll have years and years to be an adult.

dating can lead u to do things that arent appropriate in Islam, thats why it would be better for u to avoid doing so..

ur only 13, many people date and then when the relationship ends they lose a friend. keep the girls as friends atleast u'll be sure that they're gonna stay in ur life for a much longer time..

It is not wrong; but, it doesn't mean you should have sex. Sex is only for those who trying to have a child; and that is only for those who are financially stable, and responsible. Also, yes you should tell someone.
