Why do guys say things to girls like "I'm going to puke" or "God, she's so ugly and dumb" when he might really like this girl. And yes this has happened to me.

this is called the cover up. by saying these thing he is making you pay addition to him and that's what he wants.

Maybe he was going to Puke. As for the second part - are we talking young guys or men? if the younger ones sometimes they are afraid if they say that they like that person and get shot down it will look really bad to their friends. Thank goodness as they get older the figure out that their friends aren't the beat all end all.

that sucks!!! but guys are dumb they would say anything to make the girl feel down and out. but thats when you have to be smarter then them and dust it.... dont ever let any one get you down. if you do, your not going to get any where in life. best wishes to you. and keep your head up.
