If you have not submitted a resume, bring one if you have one.
If you have other useful information, some people say they will furnish other info upon request, if you did, bring it.
A list of questions you want answered. It's important to have some questions of your own, beyond the ones you know they will answer for you (ie pay scale, vacation time, benefits, etc). Try something like What's your policy on ________? (something that's important to you - leaving early?, over time? training?)
If you get the job but you know you will need time off immediately, let them know the exact dates. For example if they offer you the job and want you to start tomorrow, but you have a doctors appointment, or a vacation scheduled within the next month, let them know. And let them know of any deal breakers too.

Good luck.

I would recommend light perfume if at all - if you smoke, don't smoke after you take a shower before the interview, and if you HAVE to, smoke after the shower and before you get dressed.

The other tips were great. Extra copies of Resume be prepared to answer things like: Why do you want to work here? Where do you see yourself in 5 years or in 10 years. Have 1, 5, 10 and 20 figured out - professional answers. SMILE .. Hair conservatively done. Small earrings. Very nice clothes. BE prepared to answer about what you do for your community as employers like civic minded - community involved people. IF you do not have any of this experience, state that one of the things you are doing is checking into (for example) Habitat for Humanity to see how they work and to 'research' them as a charity, before you devote your time. This shows you aren't free with the wind, have standards about what you EXPECT from a charity or charity like thing (this includes volunteering at hospitals, being a big bro/big sis, those kinds of things).

I have no idea how old you are but even if this is for Taco Bell, the info above may not 'serve you' right this minute, but it will serve you later in life! BE CIVIC MINDED - It's better for you to GIVE now matter how you do it, than to not give it all. There are so many causes and things that need help, find an interest, and perhaps that would be a great way to meet your future mate, or change your life .. as for goals and what you want to do with your life.

I sure hope this helps.. polite, friendly, BRIEF (when answering questions or when the ask an 'open ended question') and then don't forget to send (either snail mail or email -- if you have the addy) a follow up thank you note for THEIR time.

GOOD LUCK!! :)

Bring a copy of your resume.

If you don't have one work on a portfolio displaying your skills, you didn't mention what job you are applying for but if you have reference letters of commendations from previous employers bring those as well.

Relax, very important, if you don't get picked for this job you can ask the employer why,it is ok to ask, this will give you an idea on what to work or practice for your next interview.

Last but not least always, send a thank you letter after the interview, even if you feel it did not go well or you made mistakes, that's ok. Everyone will know that you are considerate and really wanted the job.

Leather portfolio. Include multiple copies of your resume. You give copies of the resume to all the people who interview you. If its one person, one , two people, two, etc. And you hold a copy of your resume yourself so you can review it with the interviewer.
Of course make sure you have a notepad just in case you need it, you probably don't, but just in case.
Pack along a good luck charm, rabbits foot, lucky coin, anything that you want to, to know it is in your pocket to calm your nerves.
Small a lot and look the interviewer in the eyes. Your nerves should soon dissipate.
Good luck!

Bring a prepared resume. And extra copies for all whom many be involved in interviewing you. Also bring a reference sheet, with one friend, one co-worker and one boss listed on it. Have a list of questions ready and prepared to ask the interviewer. Remember this interview is for you also to learn about them as much as it is for them to learn about you. Last dress nicely, no overpowering jewelry and clear nail polish. No bright colors it takes away from what you have to say.

Bring extra copies of your resume for anyone who doesn't have one in the meeting. Ask if anyone needs one, that shows preparation for the interview.

Resume, Smile, Manners, Ask questions of the interviewer. Don't chew gum. Give more than one word answers. Ask about benefits, dress code, vacation policy, sick policy...

On an interview, sit with your back straight and your butt halfway off the chair. Don't lean back. Put your knees together and put your ankles to one side. Place your hands crossed in your lap. Answer everything with a smile but not overenthusiastic. Hope this helps.

Pen, paper, at least 5 questions, extensive knowledge of the business you are working for and a great, positive personality. :)

Unless you're trying to be an undertaker...then the personality might not apply ;)
