Realize that he really doesn't love you and I would make it so that he wouldn't have to ignore me anymore. I would be gone.

uhhh.thats a tricky one but in my opinion it sounds more like a test. I've heard of guys and s doing this, they want to see if you will love them even when they dont deserve it. Maybe he wants you to prove it for real ( your love )......just a thought!
Thats what love means......good or bad it should still be love!
