It's sugar. Sugar they add or sugar that is naturally in the vegetables, etc. is listed the same way. If you don't see added sugars in the ingredients, i.e., sucrose, fructose, corn syrup, etc. then it's probably naturally occuring sugar. Onions, carrots, peas, beets, for example, are loaded with natural sugars.

Both are good for you, each fruit/vegetable has different vitamins. Therefore as more variety, as better. Vegetables have generally less sugar than fruits.

They add corn syrup or sweetener, not usually plain sugar.
