I am 13 and I want to make/get my sister something special for her birthday because this will be her last birthday at home with us since she will go off to college right before her birthday next year. She does what one of thoose silver necklaces with the heart from
Tiffany & Co. , which is like more that $1,000...but I can't afford that! so if anyone has any ideas of whet i can make/get her...please help!!! (o, by the way...her birthday is on September 8th)

It depends on your price range.

I'm 17, so I can honestly say, most teenagers like DVDs, CDs, or gift certificates. Those are all safe choices.

If you were looking to make a gift, what I did for a friend was make a CD, but I used a hit song from every year of her life.

So for instance, for the year 1988 you could use Guns 'n' Roses 'Sweet Child of Mine'

get a board and pick 17 things u love about her and put them on it. then get 17 pictures of u two and make a little memory album she can take with her when she leaves for college next year!! Go to wal-mart and buy her cheap necklace and say it's not Tiffany's but it's from my heart she will be soooo impressed trust me!!!!

Try going to icings or clair's and find some cool jewelry that isn't so expensive. I'm sure you can find something pretty close to that silver heart necklace in your price range.
