With most religious and spiritual questions not being resolvable, why do people keep asking them?

I'd have to go with Yoda...oh, the other question! I suppose you're right, maybe I just like to see who has the guts to answer the ones I pose, and whether I have the guts myself to tell people they are right and I don't have an answer.

Well, sometimes it's fun to ask anyway.

People sometimes will put their heart and soul into their answers, trying their best to answer a question that really has no answer.

It's both amusing and endearing to see...

I'm not arguing, I'm just planting seeds. The sheer animosity between theists and atheists will prevent us from ever having an agreement upon the truth. However, when the theists ask their questions here, or if I ask them one, my hope is that my words will get them thinking. Only by thinking for themselves can they discover the truth.
