New in town, will my new "friend" call me?

I just moved across the country. I met a guy here a few months ago when I was looking at apartments. He said maybe we could get togeither after I arrived. We e-mailed and talked a couple of times over the summer. I e-mailed him and he came over and hung pictures. We talked and laughed. A week later, I stopped by his work to ask for directions. He is a property manager. (He hugged me in front of other people when I walked in to his office) He asked his assistant to take care of things so he could show me around. We talked and laughed some more(about 45 min.) and he showed me directions on the map. I really want to get to know him better, but I don't want to scare him off. . . I mean, it's not like I want to marry him or anything, but some guys think that is what a girl always wants. It has only been a few days, but do you think he will he call me and ask me out? Should I wait a while then call him and ask him over for dinner? What should I do?

Wait and see if he calls, he might have been busy and you do not want to seem pushy. After a few weeks if he has not called, you can call.
